High IR Reflectance Colors

BaySystems has developed a palette of pigments based on heat-reflective, high IR reflectivity colors. Most of our products can be tinted using our new technology or through other traditional tinting technologies.
The Evercool colors produce energy savings through reduced heat absorption, compared to standard pigment colors. The reduced surface temperatures of coatings based on our new technologies can result in a longer coating service life.

Fluoropolymer Surfacer

EC 1100 and EC 1300 are water-based, single-component, high-performance coatings based on Kynar® AQUATEC technology.  These materials can be applied over most of our roofing systems to provide incredible durability.

These formulations are designed for applications where long-term, heat-reflective performance and color retention are required. Based on Kynar Aquatec technology, EC 1100 and EC 1300 exhibit similar performance properties to Kynar, such as long-term gloss retention, mildew resistance, plasticizer migration resistance and stain resistance. Dirt pickup resistance is exceptional. The film contains high levels of fluorine and, with the exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light, results in increased levels at the surface of the film. This UV exposure can promote improvement of some key properties over time.
